Thousands gathered outside Newry last night to welcome the Armagh footballers home after they won the All-Ireland title.

Kieran McGeeney's side beat Galway 1-11 to 0-13 at Croke Park- lifting the Sam Maguire for the first time in 22 years.

The official homecoming is this afternoon at the Athletics Ground in Armagh.
