Arsenal's grip on the title race loosened after a shock home defeat to Bournemouth.
Arsenal suffered a damaging setback in the Premier League title race, losing 2-1 at home to Bournemouth.
The visitors struck first through Junior Kroupi in the 17th minute, before Viktor Gyökeres levelled from the penalty spot midway through the first half.
However, Bournemouth restored their lead in the 74th minute when Alex Scott found the net, sealing an impressive away victory.
Despite holding a nine-point lead at the top, Arsenal's position is now under real pressure from Manchester City, who have two games in hand and face the Gunners on April 19th in a potentially decisive clash.
The result was met with audible frustration from the home crowd, with boos heard at full-time as manager Mikel Arteta continues contract discussions. Bournemouth, meanwhile, earned praise for a disciplined and clinical performance.
