Daina Moorehouse is the latest Irish boxer to book a last-16 spot at the Olympic qualifier event in Italy.

She beat Venezuela’s Tayonis Cedeno via a split decision to progress in the flyweight division.

Grainne Walsh also needed a points decision to advance to the welterweight last-16.

But Kelyn Cassidy stopped Guatemala’s Wyatt Trujillo in the first round of their light-heavyweight last-32 bout.
