The Kilkenny native was in charge for 5 years.
David Herity has informed Kildare GAA that he is stepping down as manager of the senior hurling team after 5 years in charge.
During his tenure, Kildare won the Christy Ring in 2018, 2020 and 2022 and only this year, came so close to gaining promotion to Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League.
Kildare GAA, in a statement, thanked Herity for his contribution over the last number of years and wished him the very best of luck in the future.
