Residents in Leixlip, Maynooth, Celbridge, and surrounding areas could experience water supply disruptions today following a burst water main in North Kildare.
Uisce Éireann says the burst occurred behind St Mary's Church in Leixlip, with repair crews currently working to resolve the issue.
The utility expects repair works to continue until 2pm this afternoon, Sunday November 8th.
It has warned that water supplies typically take a further three to four hours to return to normal following repairs, with some properties potentially waiting longer.
Traffic management measures have been introduced near the works.
Uisce Éireann says restoring supply is a priority and is advising affected customers to check its website for further updates.
