European Team Championships Day One Standings

Ireland are second in the Division 3 following the morning action.

Ireland are second in the Division 3 standings following the morning action at the European Team Championships in Poland.

Sharlene Mawdsley produced the second fastest time of her career to win her heat of the women’s 400-metres.

Israel Olatunde was second in his heat of the 100-metres.

There was also a second-place finish for Finley Daly in the 3000-metre steeplechase.

Ireland are with Austria and Israel in the promotion places as things stand.
