Naas have secured an eighth consecutive Kildare Senior Hurling Championship title following a 3-13 to 0-11 victory over Maynooth at Cedral St Conleth's Park this gusty afternoon.
The latest triumph takes Naas to 14 senior county titles, moving them ahead of Ardclough and into second place on Kildare's all-time championship honours list.
The defending champions were made to work for their victory, with Maynooth making a strong start and taking a 0-7 to 0-5 lead into half-time.
Naas were also reduced to 14 players following a red card for John McKeown after an incident before the interval.
Despite the setback, Naas turned the contest around in the second half, with Cathal Dowling scoring the opening goal to put his side ahead for the first time.
Further goals from Brian Byrne and substitute Fionn Maher in the closing stages secured an 11 point victory.
Jack Sheridan finished with six points as Naas extended their remarkable unbeaten run of county championship titles, having won every Kildare Senior Hurling Championship since 2019.
The champions now turn their attention to the Leinster Club Championship.
