English Women's Football Shines At Ballon D'Or Ceremony

In the men's category, PSG striker Ousmane Dembele collected the trophy for best men's player.

It was a huge night for English women's football at the Ballon d'Or awards in Paris.

The Lionesses were honoured for their Euro 2025 glory, with Sarina Wiegman named best manager and Hannah Hampton picking up the trophy for best goalkeeper.

Alessia Russo came third in the women's category for best player, which was won for a third year in a row by Spanish midfielder Aitana Bonmati 

Paris Saint-Germain striker Ousmane Dembele collected the trophy for best men's player, beating Spanish teenager Lamine Yamal to the main prize.

Arsenal were named best women's club following their Champions League success.
