Everton have ended a run of 8 games without a win.

The Toffees beat Arsenal 2-1 in the Premier League at Goodison Park last night.

Demarai Gray scored the winner in stoppage time to ease the pressure on manager Rafael Benitez.

Everton are now 12th in the table, moving 8 points away from the relegation zone.

Liverpool and Manchester City have already qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League and both clubs play their final Group games this evening.

HORSE RACING

Today's race meeting at Tramore is off due to Storm Barra.

It has been rescheduled for this Thursday.

Meanwhile, the attendance at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival may be curtailed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Irish Times reports that the number of racegoers may be reduced from 10,000 per day.

It's possible that the daily attendance could be capped at 4,000 per day, from December 26th to 29th.

Fergal O'Brien and Michael Judge are both in action at the Scottish Open today.

O’Brien goes up against world number 5, Kyren Wilson.

While Judge takes on Jackson Page of Wales.
