The opening day of Fairyhouse's Irish Grand National meeting has been cancelled and its Grade 1 Sunday card must pass an inspection following heavy rain overnight.
The three-day meeting had been due to start later today, but it was called off just before 8am after 21mm of rain overnight left the course waterlogged.
Fairyhouse will also inspect at 7.30am on raceday for the second day of the meeting on Sunday.
