It's the final round of this season's League of Ireland Men's Premier Division this evening.

Champions-elect Shamrock Rovers will be handed the trophy following their game against Dundalk .

St Pat's host Bohemians - the winner of that game will finish second, and skip the first round of qualifying for next year's Conference League.

Elsewhere, Derry City and Waterford get one last runout before their showdown in next week's FAI Cup Final.

Derry head to Sligo Rovers, who will bid farewell to the top flight after being relegated this season,

While Waterford are the visitors to Shelbourne.

And Drogheda United host Galway United.

All matches get underway at 7:45pm.

RUGBY

Tadhg Furlong will be free to play in Ireland's Nations Championship tests next month.

The Leinster prop has been cleared of a charge of serious foul play from last weekend's URC interpro derby win over Munster.

The league confirmed that a complaint against Furlong for allegedly grabbing the groin of Munster's Gavin Coombes had been dismissed.

There's another huge inter-provincial derby in the URC this evening, as Connacht host Leinster at the Dexcom Stadium

Athy’s Joey Carbery is the only player to keep his place in the Leinster team, with a number of Ireland internationals unavailable.

For Connacht, there's a first start for Will Connors, who faces his former province.

Kick-off in Galway tonight is at 7:45.
