A number of games were down for decision at the weekend
The quarter-finals of the Joe Mallon Motors Senior Football Championship and Auld Shebeen Bar Athy Intermediate Football Championship were played at the weekend.
The results are as follows
In the Senior Championship:
Sarsfields 1-9 Moorefield 0-11
Naas 3-17 Johnstownbridge 0-7
Celbridge 1-15 Clane 0-7
Athy 3-15 Raheens 1-13
In the Relegation Final, it finished Kilcock 0-15 St Laurence’s 1-6, meaning St Laurence’s are relegated to Intermediate.
In the Intermediate Championship:
Caragh 0-12 Sallins 1-8
Leixlip 1-16 Ballyteague 0-7
Rathangan 4-9
Milltown 2-14 St Kevin’s 2-7
In the Relegation Final, it finished Two Mile House 1-9 Ballymore Eustace 0-8, meaning Ballymore Eustace are relegated to Junior.
This morning’s Kildare Today programme at 10.45 and this evening’s Kildare Scoreboard from 6.25 will review all the games.
Elsewhere, in the UPMC Senior B Hurling Championship semi final, Naas defeated Clane 2-19 to 1-14 and will now play Moorefield in the final.
