Grace Davison smashed the Irish senior women’s 100 metres freestyle record on the opening morning of the Irish Open Championships in Bangor, clocking 54.45 seconds.
The Paris Olympian’s time beat her previous national mark and the 2022 championship record set by Danielle Hill.
Meanwhile, Evan Bailey topped the men's 100 freestyle heats in 49.52.
Finals action gets underway from 5.30pm, with Daniel and Nathan Wiffen featuring in the men’s 1500 metres freestyle.
