Ireland face North Macedonia on Tuesday 31st March at 7:45pm.
Jack Taylor has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland's friendly with North Macedonia national football team on Tuesday.
The Ipswich midfielder has returned home after his wife fell ill, according to manager Heimir Hallgrimsson.
Taylor had started Ireland's play-off semi-final defeat to Czech Republic national football team last week.
Meanwhile, Sammie Szmodics is recovering after a collision in Prague left him unconscious, and will miss the game as a precaution.
