Walk 100k for Kildare GAA and Line Out for the Lilywhites
Kildare GAA has, today, launched a major Fundraising Campaign live on Kfm
Asking Kildare people and supporters in the county and across the world to undertake a campaign to walk 100km during LentPeople can register on the Kildare GAA website and donate or fundraise by committing to walking 100km over lent,
It's approximately two and a half kilometres a day.
People can sponsor eachother.
Christy Moore and Ruby Walsh have also signed up, as have Kildare greats Mick Carolan, Pa Connelly and Niall "Nuckser" Buckley in the US..
Speaking on this morning's Kildare Today, "We have listened long and hard about the shortage of money," said Dermot Reilly.
The money is for the footballers, the hurlers and the whole GAA community".
The aim is to raise €100,000 for Kildare GAA.
