The Kildare Senior Ladies football team completed the League and Championship double, with an excellent win over Wexford on Sunday afternoon.
Played in glorious sunshine in O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, Diane O'Hora's side put in a superb performance to claim victory.
The Lilywhites led by 5 points at half time and kicked on in the second half to eventually run out 2-12 to 1-8 winners.
The Kildare scorers on the day were: Róisín Byrne 1-7 (4f), Ellen Dowling 1-1, Neasa Dooley 0-2, Aoife Rattigan 0-1, Ruth Sargeant 0-1.
