Kildare Play Wicklow In The Leinster SFC Today - Full Commentary On Kfm

Throw-in is at 1.45pm in Portlaoise

It’s a big afternoon for the Kildare senior men footballers, as they get their Championship campaign underway today.

They play Wicklow in the Leinster quarter final at 1.45pm in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Following their relegation from Division 2 of the league, Kildare must reach the Leinster final in order to play in the All Ireland Championship this season – otherwise it’s the Tailteann Cup.

Kfm will have full commentary in association with Hanlon Concrete Robertstown.

Also today, the Kildare minor ladies team play Meath in the Leinster A Championship final.

Throw in in Bray Emmets is at 3pm.

Yesterday, the hurlers beat Sligo in their first Christy Ring Cup game.

The full time score was Kildare 2-19 Sligo 2-8.

The minor footballers also claimed victory to make it three wins from three in the Leinster championship and finish top of their group.

They beat Louth 0-12 0-6.
