Largely Successful Weekend For Kildare GAA Teams As 3 Out Of 4 Win

This morning’s Kildare Today programme and this evening’s Kildare Scoreboard will review all the action

It was a largely successful weekend for Kildare GAA teams, with 3 out of 4 senior teams winning.

The senior mens footballers made it 4 wins from 4, with a 0-21 to 0-9 win over Laois on Saturday night.

Next up is an away game against Clare on Sunday.

The hurlers beat Derry on Saturday on a scoreline of 2-25 to 0-17 and will play Donegal next.

The women footballers recorded a superb win against Meath yesterday afternoon.

Pat Sullivan’s side won in Abbottstown 2-7 to 1-5.

Elsewhere, the camogie side lost their opening league game to Laois.

They were beaten in Mountmellick 3-11 to 2-5.
