Ireland play Denmark and the Netherlands on August 2nd and 3rd respectively
Leixlip's Sorcha Tiernan and Monasterevin's Claire Melia have both been included in the Ireland women’s squad by head coach James Weldon’s for games against Denmark and The Netherlands on Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd.
Tiernan plays her club basketball with FloMAX Liffey Celtics, while Melia is currently playing with Uni Ferrol in Spain.
Meanwhile, Laura Bello and Emma Glavin are in line for senior international debuts.
