Both tee off this afternoon
Leona Maguire will hope to channel the good vibes from her recent Matchplay final appearance into the first major of the year today.
The Cavan native and Jordanstown's Stephanie Meadow are in the field for the Chevron Championship in Texas.
Meadow tees off at 1.15pm Irish time, with Maguire out at ten past two.
Meanwhile, after their disappointments at the Masters, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry compete in the RBC Heritage on the PGA Tour at Hilton Head.
That tournament starts today with Seamus Power also in the line up.
