It was an historic win for Brian Dowling's side
Celebrations are continuing for the Kildare senior hurlers this afternoon.
Yesterday, Brian Dowling's side made history by winning their first ever Joe McDonagh Cup, beating Laois 2-26 to 1-19.
The result means Kildare will play in the Senior Leinster Championship next year.
They also now go through to the preliminary quarter finals of the All Ireland Championship, where they will play
