LIV Golf Series Gets Underway Today In The UK.

The Saudi-backed tournament has been causing controversy within the sport.

The controversial Saudi-backed LIV Golf series gets underway in the UK later.

Phil Mickelson's among the star names in action at the Centurion Club near London, where there's a prize pot of 16-million-pounds in the individual competition.

But the Saudi-regime's been accused of using it as a form of 'sports washing'.

Former world number one Dustin Johnson's among the players who've turned their back on the established PGA Tour to focus on the new series.
