Local Soccer Round Up: Defeats For Leixlip and MU Town In Leinster Senior League.

Athy Town were also beaten in the FAI Junior Cup.

There were defeats for both Leixlip United and Maynooth University Town in the Leinster Senior League at the weekend.

Leixlip were beaten 3-1 by St Patrick's CYFC, while MU Town lost out to Cherry Orchard 2-1.

Newbridge Town didn't play.

Athy Town lost out to Pike Rovers of Limerick in the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup yesterday.

The full-time score in Aldridge Park was 3-0.

Elsewhere, on Saturday, Prosperous United U16s were beaten 2-0 by Clare's Bridge United in the last 32 of the SFAI Cup.
