Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh of Kerry has retired from inter-county football after a career spanning almost 17 years.
The 32-year-old claimed a first All-Ireland crown this year after the Kingdom's final win over Galway in August.
Ní Mhuircheartaigh was Footballer of the Year in 2023 and was awarded with an All-Star on five occasions.
