Shane Lowry is the best placed Irish player after round one of the Memorial Tournament on the PGA Tour in Ohio.

The Offalyman is 3 under par following a 69 at Muirfield Village.

American Davis Riley leads on 5 under.

Seamus Power is 2 under with Rory McIlroy level par.

McIlroy's round was going nicely before he took a triple bogey at the last hole.
