Jesse Marsch insists he can turn Leeds' poor form around.

They've dropped into the Premier League relegation zone after yesterday's 3-2 loss to Fulham.

It's understood Marsch's position has come under scrutiny - but he believes he can bring Leeds to safety:

There's one game in the top-flight tonight.

West Ham take on Bournemouth at the London Stadium from 8pm.

Donegal are set to ratify a new senior football management team tonight.

It's expected that Aidan O'Rourke and Paddy Carr will be put forward for ratification.

O'Rourke won an All-Ireland as a player with Armagh in 2002, while Carr previously played for Donegal.

Declan Bonner stepped down from the job earlier this year.

RUGBY

New Zealand and South Africa will face each other at Twickenham as part of their final preparations for next year's Rugby Union World Cup in France.

The two sides are set to meet on Friday the 25th of August, two weeks before the tournament begins in Paris.

Ireland are scheduled to play England and Italy in their warm up fixtures.

HORSE RACING

€176,771 has been raised from the Curragh's Pat Smullen Race Day in aid of Cancer Trials Ireland.

The racecourse and the 'Coast to Curragh' charity cycle joined forces, in memory of the nine-time champion jockey.

A race day at the Curragh was held on the 27th August, the second outing of the 'Coast to Curragh' cycle.

An auction was held during the raceday, including the original silks worn by Rachael Blackmore, to win the 2022 Cheltenham Champion Hurdle & Gold Cup & Pat Smullen’s 2019 Champions Race memorabilia signed by all the jockeys who rode in the famous race.

Funds were also raised due to generous contributions from racegoers.

All monies raised have been donated to Cancer Trials Ireland - "the leading cancer research trials organisation in Ireland with which Pat Smullen was very closely associated during his own cancer battle."
