Following yesterday’s Allianz League defeat to Louth, Kildare are in relegation trouble and could lost their chance to compete in this year’s All Ireland series.

They’ve two games remaining:  away to Limerick on March 19^th and at home to Meath two weeks later.

Leixlip Amenities Liffey Celtics recorded their 4^th straight Women’s Superleague basketball win on Saturday evening.

They beat 4^th place Waterford Wildcats away by 80-69

Celtics are 6^th in the table with one regular season game remaining.

It was a great weekend for the club as both their Seniors and U17’s won the Dublin Cup competitions

Naas Serpents basketballers contested the Intermediate Cup final, but lost to Tolka Rovers.
