In the Senior A Hurling Championship Preliminary Round, there were wins for holders Naas, Coill Dubh, Ardclough and Eire Og Chorra Choill who will form the winners group, while Celbridge, Clane, Confey and Maynooth will form the losers group.

This evening’s Kildare Scoreboard from 6.30pm will review the games.

The schedule for the opening round has been announced:
