She was beaten by American Amanda Anisimova.

Naomi Osaka is out of the French Open.

The former world number one lost 7-5 6-4 to to American Amanda Anisimova in the first round.

Current world number one Iga Swiatek has taken the first set against Lesia Tsurenko

Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal will be in first round action later.

World number one Djokovic takes on Yoshihito Nishioka of Japan this evening.

Before that, 13-time winner at Roland Garros, Nadal plays Jordan Thompson at 2pm.
