Sheffield United return to the top-flight at home to Crystal Palace.

Everton meet Fulham, Bournemouth host West Ham.

Newcastle go up against Aston Villa in the late game at St James' Park.


Meanwhile, Harry Kane has completed a £100-million move from Tottenham to Bayern Munich.

Shamrock Rovers’ lead at the top of the SSE Airtricity Premier Division remains at four points this morning.

They were held to a 1-1 draw at Shelbourne, after Gavin Molloy’s injury-time header levelled for Damien Duff’s side.

Rovers’ title rivals St. Pat’s and Bohemians drew a blank at Richmond Park.

Dundalk beat Sligo Rovers by a Daniel Kelly goal to nil.

While UCD claimed a first point on the road since the opening night of the season with a 1-1 draw at Cork City.

First Division leaders Galway United struck late to salvage a 2-2 draw away to Waterford.

Cobh Ramblers and Bray played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Wexford came from 2-nil down to win 3-2 at home to Kerry.

And Treaty United were 1-nil winners at Finn Harps.

In the First Division tonight, it’s the Midlands Clasico with Longford Town at home to Athlone Town.

 

GOLF

Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow have plenty of ground to make up on day three of the Women’s Open.

They’ll tee off from level par and 1-over par respectively.

SWIMMING

Irish swimmers bagged three golds and a silver on the opening night of the European Under-23 Championships.

Ellen Walshe claimed one of each, while Mona McSharry and Daniel Wiffen also won gold.

All three are back in the National Aquatic Centre Pool today.
