Naas & Éire Óg Corra Choill are in Leinster Hurling action

Both the Kildare Senior and Junior Hurling Champions are in Provincial action today

Naas play Shinrone of Offaly in an AIB Leinster Club Senior Hurling Quarter Final at St Conleth’s Park.

Kfm will have live updates of the game with Seamus Dillion reporting.

Throw in is at 1.30.

At the same time Éire Óg Corra Choill take on Horeswood of Wexford in a Leinster Club Junior Hurling quarter final at St. Patrick’s Park, Enniscorthy

The Semi Finals of the Kildare LGFA club minor championship are down for decision today.

RUGBY

The Irish rugby team play Fiji in their second test of the Autumn International  Series at 1 o'clock.

Coach Andy Farrell has made 9 changes to his starting 15 that beat South Africa last weekend.

There are five Kildare players in the squad including Athy's Jeremy Loughman is set to earn his first cap.

 

The game of the day sees France play host to the Springboks at 8pm.

Before that, Wales come up against Argentina from half past 5.

At 3:15 England take on Japan while Italy face Australia at 1 o'clock.


SOCCER

Manchester City can put the pressure back on Arsenal in the Premier League's lunchtime game this afternoon.

Pep Guardiola's side play Brentford knowing a win would put them back on top of the table for a few hours at least.

Kick off at the Eithad is at 12:30pm.

The Gunners travel to Wolves this evening at 7:45pm.

FORMULA ONE

Haas driver Kevin Magnussen will start today's Sprint race at the Brazilian Grand Prix from the front of the grid.

The Dane claimed his and his team's first ever pole position in a major upset in qualifying last night.

World champion Max Verstappen starts from second with Mercedes man George Russell in third.

The 100km race will determine the starting grid for tomorrow's Grand Prix.
