A football camogie double for Maynooth yesterday

They beat Raheens by 1-9 to 1-7 in the Whitewater Shopping Centre U23 “A” semi-final in St Conleth’s Park.

Maynooth held on for the 2 point victory as Raheens missed late goal scoring chances

Their opponents are due to be Naas who were awarded their semi final over Sarsfields by the County Board.

The game finished level in normal time, but the referee decided not to play extra time due to what is alleged verbal abuse by a Sarsfield official.

Kfm understands that Sarsfields are lodging an objection to the County Board decision.

Rathangan are U23 C champions

On Friday night, they beat Allewnood by 0-11 to 0-10 after extra time

Kilmacud Crokes have booked their place in the Leinster Club Senior football final.

The Dublin champions beat Portarlington 1-12 to 4 points in Croke Park.

They will play Westmeath’sThe Downs in the final.  They’re into their first Leinster final in 50 years after beating Ratoath by 2-12 to 17 points.

 

Maynooth are into the AIB Leinster Junior Camogie Championship Final.

Yesterday, they beat Naomh Éamonn of Laois, by 1-11 to 2-03 in their semi final at Maynooth GAA Grounds.

The win came thanks to an early goal from Annmarie Howard and three late points from Roisin Forde.

Athy club Clommullion can make KDfL history by doing an historic treble.

They’ve already won the Senior League title and the Lumsden League Cutp.
