There's one game in the Premier League this afternoon.

SOCCER

Premier League

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says they won't be putting too much pressure on Christopher Nkunku as he prepares for his Premier League debut.

The French striker signed for the Blues in the summer but only played for the first time against Newcastle due to injury.

They play Wolves this afternoon having only scored 28 goals so far this season.

Pochettino knows he could be transformative for his side but will allow him time to adapt to the challenge:

Kick off at Molineux is at 1pm and it's the only game of the day.

Scottish Premiership

Rangers will be looking to cut the gap to the top of the Scottish Premiership table to 2 points this afternoon.

They come up against Motherwell in the only game of the day in Scotland.

Kick off at Fir Park is at noon.

Celtic moved 5 points clear thanks to a 2-0 win over Livingston yesterday.

RUGBY

Munster scrum half Craig Casey says their entire focus this week has been on Leinster ahead of their interpro derby.

The old rivals face each other on St Stephen's Day in the URC.

Donadea's Will Connors is on the bench for Leinster.

While Athy's Jeremy Loughman has been named among the Munster replacements.

Munster come into the game off the back of a few poor results in the Champions Cup and may not make the knockout stages.

However, Casey says they can't afford to take their eyes off their neighbours in one of the biggest games of the season:

RACING

Facile Vega will attempt to remain unbeaten over fences as he goes for glory at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day.

The Willie Mullins trained 6 year old is the early favourite for the Racing Post Novice Chase on day one of the Christmas Festival.

He's looking to make it two from two after besting Inthepocket on his debut in the novice chase at Navan last month.
