While two more Euro 2024 quarter finals will be played this evening

GAA
The UPMC Senior Hurling Championship preliminary round got underway last night.
The full time score was Celbridge 2-19, Ardclough 14 points.
Today, Naas play Maynooth at 5.30 in Manguard Park Hawkfield.
In the Senior B Hurling Championship, Moorefield play Broadford in Allenwood at 6 o’clock and Clane play Maynooth in Hawkfield at 7.30.

On the Intercounty scene, the women footballers and camogie side are both in action this afternoon.
The footballers play Donegal in a relegation semi final in Breffni Park, Cavan.
A win for Diane O’Hora’s side would ensure their senior status for another season - defeat would mean they go into a relegation final.
Throw in is at 2pm and Kfm will have live updates with Pat Costello.
The camogie side conclude their Glen Dimplex Intermediate Championship at the same time.
They play Kilkenny in Hawkfield and are already virtually assured of their intermediate status for next season.

SOCCER
Two more Euro 2024 quarter finals will be played this evening.
England are against Switzerland at 5 o'clock and the Netherlands play Turkey at 8.
Last night Spain snatched a dramatic 2-1 victory in the final minute against Germany and France beat Protugal 5-3 on penalties.

GOLF
Leona Maguire become the first Irish golfer to win on the Ladies European Tour.
Castlewarden's Lauren Walsh placed 3rd at the women's event.

RACING
Racing today is at Bellewstown and Naas.
The first race in Bellewstown goes to post just before 5pm, while the first at Naas goes off at 2.10
