Kenny names Ireland Training Camp Squad; Europa League & Premier League tonight; US PGA delayed

Shamrock Rovers winger Neil Farrugia has been included in the Republic of Ireland's 22-man squad for a four-day training camp in Bristol next week.

Farrugia has been rewarded for his good form in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, with Derry City goalkeeper Brian Maher and Bohemians stopper James Talbot also involved.

Everton striker Tom Cannon comes in from the U-21s, with defenders Sean McLoughlin [Hull City] and Danny McNamara [Millwall] also included.

Jeff Hendrick, Alan Browne, Leixlip’s Andrew Omobamidele, Callum Robinson and Seamus Coleman are all definitely out of the June qualifiers.

Middlesbrough defender Darragh Lenihan and Peterborough United midfielder Jack Taylor will not be involved due to their clubs being in the Championship play-offs.

All Premier League players remain in action for their clubs.

Mikey Johnston (Vitoria de Guimaraes), Jamie McGrath (Dundee United) and Matt Doherty (Atletico Madrid) continue their club schedule.

Ireland will play Greece on Friday, June 16th in Athens, followed by Gibraltar in the Aviva on June 19th.

There are four Irish players in the field of 156 - Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Seamus Power and Padraig Harrington.

McIlroy's last major win was in the PGA in 2014.
