Keeping you up to date on soccer, darts and racing.

SOCCER

Arsenal made it six wins from six in the Champions League last night with a 3-nil victory away to Club Brugge.

The game featured a return for Gabriel Jesus who came off the bench after 11 months out with a knee injury.

Manchester City secured a 2-1 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu where Erling Haaland's penalty proved to be the difference.

In Germany, it ended Bayer Leverkusen 2 Newcastle 2.

Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne are both in must-win territory in the Conference League tonight.

The Hoops are in Iceland to take on Breidablik from a 5:45pm.

Crystal Palace - who are currently in fourth place in the Premier League - take on Shels in Tallaght from 8pm.

Both Irish clubs have just one point from their first four matches in the league phase and have two games left to go.

Seven points will likely be required to advance to the knockout stage after Christmas.

DARTS

Luke Littler begins his bid to defend the World Championship tonight at the Alexandra Palace in London.

The world number one takes on Darius Labanauskas of Lithuania in the opening round.

The first match on stage is the meeting of Belgium's Kim Huybrechts and Arno Merk of Germany.

A record 128 players will feature at Alexandra Palace with double the prize money on offer from last year.

The winner is set to pocket a cheque worth 1-million pounds.

RACING

After cancellation on Tuesday, there's a rescheduled card down for decision at Punchestown today.

The first of eight races goes to post at 11:50am.
