The action is due to begin later this morning

It's the opening day of Wimbledon, with the action due to begin in London later this morning.

Among the early starters is men's eighth seed Casper Ruud - he faces Alex Bolt.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and top seed Jannick Sinner are both in action later today.

In the women's draw, world number nine Maria Sakkari goes up against McCartney Kessler this morning.

Second seed Coco Gauff starts her tournament against fellow American Caroline Dolehide.
