Shamrock Rovers in Champions League qualifying action this evening.

Shamrock Rovers' Champions League qualifying campaign continues this evening.

Stephen Bradley's side are in Bulgaria to take on Ludogorets in the first leg of their second round tie.

Kick-off is at a-quarter-to-7 Irish time.

Tottenham Hotspur have signed right back Djed Spence from Middlesbrough.

The 21 year old has put pen to paper on a deal in North London until 2027.

The fee is an initial 12 and a half million pounds, but could rise to 20 million.

Spurs have made six signings in the transfer window this summer.

Former West Ham forward Sebastien Haller has thanked fans for their "support and affection" after being diagnosed with a testicular tumour.

It was discovered after the 28-year-old told medical staff at current club Borussia Dortmund he was feeling unwell following a training session.

Further tests are scheduled to take place and Haller says he'll focus on recovering to "come back stronger".

Liam Cahill is the new manager of the Tipperary senior hurlers.

He succeeds Colm Bonnar, who left the role last week.

Cahill stepped down as Waterford boss last week after three years in charge.

He has previously guided the Premier County to All Ireland titles at underage level.

Bonnar's club Cashel King Cormacs have expressed their 'great disgust' at the way Bonnar's departure was announced by the Tipperary County Board.

There's an eight race card at Ballinrobe today where the first goes to post at half-past-4 this afternoon.
