Man Utd Up to Within One Point of Top 4 Spot; Chelsea Win; Man City away to Leeds; Celtic away to Hibs tonight; Van Gerwen in action at PDC Darts; Day 3 of Leopardstown

 

Manchester United moved to within a point of the Premier League Top 4 last night.

United were 3 nil winners over struggling Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.

Two goals in four minutes from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the first half .

Fred's late strike in the second half wrapped up all three points for the home side.

Chelsea ended a run of five league games without a win.

First-half strikes from Kai Havertz and Mason Mount helped the hosts to a 2-nil victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

However, Reece James was forced to retire early in the second half.

The right-back was making his first appearance for the Blues since suffering a knee injury in October.


Tonight, Manchester City will aim to climb past Newcastle in 2nd place.

They're away to Leeds United at 8pm

In the Scottish Premiership, League leaders Celtic are away to Hibernian at 8 o'clock

Rangers host Motherwell at 7.45pm.
