GAA
In the Leinster Minor Football Championship, Kildare played Meath yesterday with a final score of Kildare 1-16, Meath 1-11.
Leinster GAA will again stage its senior football semi-finals outside of Croke Park, with this year's last-four ties set for Glenisk O'Connor Park in Tullamore and Laois Hire O'Moore Park in Portlaoise.
The decision follows improved atmosphere and competitive games at provincial venues last season, after low attendances at GAA headquarters.
St Conleth's Park in Newbridge and Echelon Park in Aughrim are also in line to host quarter-final ties later this month.
SOCCER
It's advantage Arsenal in their Champions League quarter-final tie with Sporting.
Kai Havertz got the goal in stoppage time for a 1-0 win in last night's first leg in Lisbon.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid went down 2-1 at home to Bayern Munich.
Tonight, Alexander Isak could make his return to the Liverpool bench, at least.
They've made the trip to Paris to face holders PSG, a side who've won five of their last six games against English opposition.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have home advantage for their first leg against domestic rivals Athletico Madrid.
The visitors are winless in their last six Champions League knockout away games.
Both games get underway tonight at 8pm.
Celtic have lifted the suspension on the Green Brigade, allowing the supporters' group to return for Saturday's home game against St Mirren.
Around 200 members were initially banned for six matches in November after what the club called "violent and threatening behaviour" during the win over Falkirk in October.
The suspension was later extended due to further safety concerns, but Celtic say the group can now return after meeting the required conditions.
