Kildare GAA Convention Tonight; Ringrose Signs New Contract: Chelsea & Man. Utd. in Champions League Tonight.

The County Board annual convention takes place tonight on-line at 7.30.

There will be only one change of officer. PRO Dave Cahill is not going forward again. He will be replaced by Naas GAA’s Lorraine O’Connor, who is unopposed for the position.

Garry Ringrose has signed a new three year contract with Leinster and the IRFU.

The 26 year old centre has penned a new deal with province and country until the end of the 2024 / 25 season.

A Grand Slam winner in 2018, Ringrose has made 37 appearance for Ireland, scoring 10 tries.

He has lined out for Leinster on 90 occasions, scoring 28 tries and winning a Champions Cup.

In the Champions League tonight

Manchester United and Chelsea have already booked their spots in the knockout stage ahead of tonight's games.

Chelsea are away to Zenit St Petersburg from 5.45.

United host Young Boys at Old Trafford from 8 o'clock.

The tie of the Champions League tonight is arguably in Munich, as Barcelona bid to remain in the competition.

They play Bayern Munich.

The track in Abu Dhabi has been altered ahead of this weekend's Formula One Grand Prix.

The circuit - which has hosted the last race on the calendar for the past seven years - has made changes to aid speed, pursuing and overtaking.

Title rivals Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are level on points heading into the final race of the season.
