Larry Breen is a local historian with a long association with the study and promotion of local history in Kildare and Ireland generally. He is a founder member of the Kildare Federation of Local History Societies, past Chairman of Naas Local History group and of the National Federation of Local History Societies.

Larry is currently (2021) PRO and Editor of the “National Federation of Local History Societies Annual Journal” and, also, joint editor of Coiseanna, the Journal of Clane Local History Group. He published his book, “Nás na Ríogh - Reflections and Recollections” in 2017.
