Aimed at eliminating tariffs on goods
The UK and New Zealand have agreed a new trade deal aimed at eliminating tariffs on goods.
Taxes as high as 10% will be removed on British products, while items from the New Zealand will be cheaper for Britons to buy
But there is concern sheep farmers in the UK could now face increased competition from lamb imports.
Sky's chief political correspondent, Jon Craig, has been reading a statement from Britain's National Farmers' Union president Minette Batters:
Britain and New Zealand have reached an agreement in principle on a free trade deal designed to reduce tariffs, improve services trade, and take London one step closer to membership in a broader trans-Pacific trade agreement https://t.co/ZcZKFdptGr pic.twitter.com/XngvTx8I4p
