Giuffre had accused the 61 year-old of having sex with her, when she was 17
American court documents reveal Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre have reached a "settlement in principle" in a civil sex case filed in New York.
Virginia Giuffre had sued the Duke of York for damages, claiming she had sex with him when she was 17 - a minor under United States law.
61 year-old Andrew has continued to strongly deny all allegations against him.
Ms. Giuffre has previously accused Jefferey Epstein of trafficking her.
Judge Lewis A. Kaplan ruled the Queen's second son would face a civil trial, after hearing arguments from both the defendant & accuser.
In October 2021, London's Metropolitan Police confirmed they are taking no further action after reviewing allegations connected Andrew, and convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The force had assessed a document released in August 2021, as part of Ms. Giuffre's US legal case against the Duke of York.
