Nationwide protests have taken place in Brazil against President Bolsonaro’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

People were on the streets in at least 16 cities.

The outbreak has killed more than 460-thousand Brazilians.

The president’s previously played down the severity of Covid-19, dismissed mask wearing and cast doubt on the importance of vaccines.
