Latest weekly report on the epidemiology of COVID-19 in Ireland
In the 7 days to Saturday, 29th October, 102 people in Co. Kildare were diagnosed with Covid-19.
The median age of those diagnosed in the county was 53.5 years, that's according to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre's most recent report.
Kildare had a 7-day incidence rate of 45.8, per 100,000 people.
In terms of the rest of the country, Kildare had the ninth highest incidence rate.
Bordering counties Carlow, Laois & Offaly were in first, second & third place, respectively.
Co. Carlow had an incidence rate of 94.8 - the highest in Ireland during that week - 54 cases were notified.
Co. Laois followed at 77.9, with 66 cases recorded.
In third position, Co. Offaly at 66.7 - 52 cases were recorded in the week to the 29th of October.
With Co. Wicklow following Kildare, in tenth position - an incidence rate of 42.8, with 61 cases notified.
