Maynooth, which is similar in size to Leixlip, still operates only a part-time Garda station and no new Gardai have been allocated to the station under the latest deployment.
Thirteen new Gardai have been allocated to garda stations across Kildare.
Six new Gardaí are being assigned to Newbridge, five to the Leixlip, and one each to Naas and Kildare Town.
The figures mean Newbridge now has 66 Gardai, Leixlip 73, Kildare Town 45 and Naas 142.
Maynooth, which is similar in size to Leixlip, still operates only a part-time Garda station and no new Gardai have been allocated to the station under the latest deployment.
Last year it had just 15 Gardaí assigned to it, compared with 68 in Leixlip.
Speaking to Kfm News, Cllr Paul Ward (FF) said it is "essential" that extra Gardai are deployed to Maynooth.
He said he is extremely disappointed that no new Gardai have been allocated to the station.
Kildare North Fianna Fáil TD Naoise Ó Cearúil says that while today’s allocations are welcome, the core problem remains: Maynooth, Celbridge, Kilcock and Clane still have no full-time Garda stations, despite major population growth.
Seantor Fiona O' Loughlin said the Justice Minister visited Newbridge last year where he met with local business owners and residents.
She said her "biggest ask" at the time was for more Gardai to be deployed to the town.
