As of 8am this morning, Wednesday, 22 admitted patients were waiting for beds at Naas General Hospital.
According to the INMO's Trolley Watch figures, nationally 244 patients were awaiting beds.
178 people were waiting in hospital emergency departments, while 66 were in wards elsewhere in Irish hospitals.
Only one hospital in the country had a higher number of patients waiting for beds at 8am.
26 patients were awaiting beds at Limerick University Hospital.
