30 pharmacies in Kildare are among around 700, nationwide, to begin giving out Johnson and Johnson vaccines to under 35s from today.
18 to 34 year olds can register for the single shot vaccine and get it sooner than they might get an mRNA shot.
The vaccine portal for 30 to 34 year olds to get the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will open on Friday.
