There's been a rebound in the number of new homes built in the second quarter of the year.
CSO figures show just over 5,021 houses and apartments were built in Q2, of which 491 are in Co. Kildare.
Of the Kildare homes, 39 are one-off homes, 330 were constructed in housing estates, and 122 are apartments.

That's national figure is an increase of 55 per cent on the same period last year when the first wave of restrictions were in place, and is almost 5 per cent up on 2019.
Apartment completions represent more than a quarter of all completions for the first time.
